Dr Carlo Tiseo
Lab Director
I am a biomedical engineer working on robot design and interaction control applied to human-robot collaboration, teleoperation, legged locomotion, and computational neuroscience. I have successfully deployed my research both in industrial and medical applications. Currently, I am focusing on enhancing the robustness of robots in unstructured environments by removing their dependency on accurate dynamic models.
I obtained a Laurea (BSc) and a Laurea Magistrale (MSc) in Biomedical Engineering from the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in 2009 and 2012, respectively, and my PhD from the Nanyang Technological University in 2018. Subsequently, I have been a research associate at the Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore (Nanyang Technological University) and the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics (University of Edinburgh).
